Lesson time for your child

One-to-one Turkish lessons

In a one-to-one lesson, your child works directly with a teacher. Conversation, questions and activity demands can be shaped around their participation and learning needs in the moment.

What needs can you discuss?

Share where your child uses Turkish, what helps them take part in conversation and the subjects they enjoy. Discuss reading and writing separately to provide a fuller picture than age alone.

Examples of lesson activities

Direct interaction leaves room to develop a task in response to your child’s answer. These examples can be simplified or expanded for different ages and experiences with Turkish.

  • Ask a question about a detail in a picture
  • Role-play an everyday situation with the teacher
  • Add a reason or example to a short explanation

From choosing a teacher to the first lesson

Review the age groups and available information on teacher profiles, then look at suitable times. Our education coordinator can help if you are unsure; the gift intro lesson lasts 25 minutes.

Questions about this lesson format

Can I choose the teacher?

Yes. You can review profiles and choose a teacher. If your child’s age is not listed, check suitability with our education team.

Who might one-to-one lessons suit?

Families looking for direct work with a teacher can consider this format. Weigh your child’s participation, Turkish needs and available times together.

Can siblings attend the same lesson?

A one-to-one lesson is for one child. If siblings want to learn together, look at group lessons: group lessons bring 2 siblings together.
