Get to know each other first

Your gift intro lesson

The first lesson gives your child a chance to meet the teacher and your family a chance to experience the approach. Share brief information about Turkish experience, then choose a suitable teacher and time.

What to share beforehand

Think about your child’s age, where they use Turkish and the question that matters most to you. Brief everyday examples help the teacher prepare without requiring a long assessment from your family.

  • Who do they hear or speak Turkish with?
  • Which subjects do they enjoy talking about?
  • What learning need matters most to your family?

Choose a teacher and lesson time

Review the age groups listed on profiles and look at available times. Before completing the booking, check the selected time zone together with the lesson time; discuss suitability questions with our education team.

What to consider afterwards

Reflect on how your child participated and the needs you would like to discuss with the teacher. Your family decides whether to continue; take time to ask about lesson format and routine.

Questions on your mind

Do I need a parent call first?

No. You may optionally begin with a free call of up to 15 minutes to discuss questions with our education team.

Should I be there during the lesson?

Stay in the same room for ages 4–6, and nearby and within reach for ages 7–9. For ages 10–17, being reachable is enough. An adult handles the technical setup.

What if my child knows no Turkish?

Share that in the starting information. Knowing your child’s age, interests and language experience helps the teacher consider a suitable beginning.
