About Roots & Talks
Our manifesto
In a globalized world, many children of families living abroad are losing their mother tongue and culture. Cut off from their roots, children can find it hard to know who they are and where they belong.
-
A mother tongue is where identity takes root
A child who speaks their mother tongue shares a language with their family, their grandparents and their own story. Keeping a mother tongue alive keeps a child’s identity and roots alive.
-
Children learn through play
Children learn best through play and enjoyment. Our game-based, interactive lessons make learning a mother tongue both fun and effective.
-
Every child at their own pace
We respect every child’s individual differences. One-to-one or together with their siblings, children learn according to their own interests, needs and pace, from the comfort of home, on the day and at the time the family chooses.
-
Together
Our call to parents is simple: let’s give our children the chance to know their own identity and roots, and help them grow strong. Together, let’s build a confident, strong future for them.
Let’s keep your child’s mother tongue alive, together.
Take the first step for your child
Choose a teacher and plan a gift intro lesson, or talk with our education team first.
