How it works

Two ways to get started

Choose a teacher and plan your gift intro lesson, or talk with our education coordinator first. You decide whether to continue after reviewing the plans and terms.

From choosing a teacher to regular lessons

You know what happens at each step, and the decision to continue is yours.

  1. Choose a teacher

You choose a teacher from profiles that show only verified information and pick a suitable time for the intro lesson.

  2. Take the intro lesson

Your child meets the teacher in a 25-minute gift intro lesson; it is not a pass-or-fail test.

  3. Get a first observation

After the intro lesson, the teacher shares what they noticed; this note is not a diagnosis, a certificate or a fixed level.

  4. Review plan options

Plans with 4, 8 or 12 lessons every 4 weeks and their prices are shared after the intro lesson, before you decide to buy.

  5. Start regular lessons

The decision to continue is yours, with no artificial deadline; with a plan, you schedule lessons around your teacher's calendar.

Do we continue with the same teacher after the intro lesson?

Our default is to continue with the intro lesson teacher. If a change is needed because of your child's fit or the teacher's lesson times, we talk through the options with you, and the choice is still yours.

Your child's participation is at the heart of every lesson

Talking about a picture, taking turns in a game or telling a story about a chosen topic… Activities are shaped around the child's age and learning needs. The same activity or pace is not expected in every lesson.

Your child can ask questions, skip an activity, take a break or stop. Silence in one lesson is not, on its own, a conclusion about their Turkish.

A first observation is a starting point, not a label

The aim of the intro lesson is to begin understanding how your child understands and uses Turkish. If a skill doesn't come up in that lesson, we say it was "not observed"; that doesn't mean your child can't do it.

Where is a parent during lessons?

Setting up the camera, sound and connection is the parent's responsibility.

Ages 4–6
A parent stays in the same room throughout the lesson.
Ages 7–9
A parent is nearby and within reach.
Ages 10–17
It is enough for a parent to be reachable.
